The KS-QEI award ceremony was held at Lotte Hotel in Seoul, Korea on 27 September 2016. Many journalists were present at the ceremony. There were publications from the two most popular newspapers in Korea; Maeil Business Newspaper and Dong-A Ilbo.

The Johnson Controls Delkor battery manufacturing plant in Korea has been awarded the 2015 General Motors (GM) Supplier Quality Excellence award for the second year in a row. The award from GM recognizes global suppliers who demonstrate excellent performance and quality in their manufacturing process, products and services.
